About Me
Hi, I'm Lori Foster.
I'm an organizational psychologist applying behavioral science to sustainable development. I'm currently a Professor at North Carolina State University, a Visiting Scholar at Duke University's Center for Advanced Hindsight, an Honorary Professor at the University of Cape Town in South Africa, and President of the International Association of Applied Psychology. In the university setting, I oversee the 4D Lab, which focuses on research at the intersection of work, psychology, technology, and sustainable development. I'm passionate about using psychological science and technological advances to improve well-being and economic mobility and am involved in a number of projects focused on enhancing the health, happiness, and productivity of people and organizations in different parts of the world.
